Meet Flash This sweet and cuddly older gentleman is experiencing a delightful midlife crisis—one that’s filled with sass and joy! After being surrendered by his owners due to a move after living with them for nine years, Flash has found a loving foster home. Since starting his diet and undergoing much-needed dental surgery, he has lost an impressive 1/3 of his weight—coming in at over 30 pounds and now down to 22 pounds. Imagine shedding a third of your weight and gaining a whole new leash on life! Don’t let this old man fool you—Flash has plenty of energy! He’s working hard to keep up with his foster sisters, and despite his short legs, he proudly zooms up and down the stairs and hops onto the couch all by himself. While he still needs a little help getting into the car, he *loves* car rides. He enjoys strutting around on his daily walks, sniffing through gardens and trails, and basking in the sunshine. His dental surgery has made a huge difference—he’s literally found his voice again! Though mostly quiet, he’ll chime in when his foster sisters bark. Flash has even taken up grooming and loves receiving ear scratches or chin rubs. Flash is looking for a forever family that can continue his health journey and provide him with a loving home during his golden years. If you're searching for a loyal, sassy, and loving companion, Flash could be your perfect match! Apply today!! At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.
**Dog/Puppy applications -
Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email lawsdogprogram@gmail.com**
